Q. Why simplistic stars?
A. It was time to get back to a basic, simple design with a touch of
flair.
Q. What about your older site designs?
A. They're not avaliable anymore, but shots of them can be found in the
Goodies, Past Designs sections.
Q. What's the difference between Imaginator Central and
your portfolio?
A. Imaginator Central (whatever design incarnation it happens to be in)
is a broad collection of my work, as well as computer goodies, tutorials and
other fun stuff. (But mostly it showcases a wide selection of my art.) My portfolio
is more professional-oriented, with a tight selection of my work in select media,
and also houses my resume and a list of professional projects I've worked on,
as well as galleries showcase my work. So basically, the porfolio is for those
who want to hire me professionally, and it caters to those objectives, while
Imaginator Central is for anyone and everyone.
Q. What do you use to code?
A.Basic html know-how, and Dreamweaver for quick execution and changes.
I've also had friends to get tips and tricks from over the years.
Q. Can I link to the site?
A. Of course! I have images for you to use to link to the site on the
Link To page. This means that you can link to me without asking for permission.
Links to IC from other pages are always appreciated!
Q. Will you link to me?
A. If I come across your site and I like it, I'll link to you.
Q. What if I want one of your images for my desktop?
A. That's fine; you need not ask to use an image for that.
Q. How did you learn how to draw?
A. I've been drawing all my life. I am mostly self taught, but I did
learn many things by asking questions and paying attention to how others work.
If there are any suggestions I'd give to someone who wants to learn how to draw,
it is to Observe and Practice. There really is no quick way to
learn, and yes, you do have to put in a lot of hard work.
Q. I want a picture done for me. What do I have to do
to get it?
A. I have a Requests page which will answer all your questions on that
topic.
Q. Do you do picture trades?
A. I have tried the picture trade thing many times in the past and wasburned
too many times, so I tend to stray far, far away from image trades unless I
know the trader well.
Q: Do any of your characters have a story that I can read?
A: All my characters have a story (some big.. some small) but I haven't
written any of them down. They're all in my head. I've tried writing some stories,
usually get bored or stuck at some point and just don't continue. The only written
story I ever finished was a fan fic I have long since lost. So.. no. Nothing
readable.
Q. Do you have a resume?
A. Yes, and you can find it in my portfolio.
Q: What do you use to make your pictures?
A: For natural media: mechanical pencil, col-erase pencils, lumocolor
pens, acrylic paints, watercolor paints, white charcoal pencil, prismacolor
pencils, gel pens, prismacolor markers, copic markers, neopiko markers, one
tria marker. Bristol board 70lb and 100lb weight, watercolor paper, marker paper,
computer paper, acetate.
