Amazing how covering those large white areas changes the look of a piece. First I took a light green and covered it all, then I let that dry a bit, and added yellow for the highlights, then went over with a slightly darker green to begin the shades.

I actually had a scan of Waspy with just the first layer of light green, but lost the scan to a computer fault before I saved the scan file.

Waspy's starting to get a finished look to him now.

I've added the finishing marker touches on the green areas, as well as gone back and touched up the yellow ones. Only one last marker thing to do.

His wings. Next will be pencils. Waspinator's just about done now.

The last touches done with pencils. Mostly I used bright green and yellow, but there's a little white in there too. His name was done with white and outlined with metallic green.
